I’m Mary Roxanne Harmon.

Aka, MrH. (I’ll tell you how I got my artist signature a little later.)

Artist, Illustrator, and Surface Pattern Designer.

I've always been an artist, for as long as I can remember. Some of my early memories were of trying to draw the comics from the Sunday paper that my Grandmother always saved for me.

I currently enjoy working from my studio and home in Florida that I share with my loving husband and 2 feline assistants. My deep love of nature, traveling, and relationships provide inspiration to feed my creative soul.

So much has changed over the past few years.

We have come to realize how important it is to nurture ourselves, our values, and what we want out of life.

We want to be comfortable and confident with how we look and feel. Our homes should also reflect our style and values, giving us renewing energy as we share our lives with family and friends.

With over 22 years of experience as a professional artist creating custom murals, art, and designs for clients,

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed melding client dreams, surroundings, and colors with my own artistic vision. This partnership formed a unique and meaningful presence in their lives and mine, which we’ve both found to be very satisfying over the years.

In 2020, I decided I could use a little nurturing myself. It was time to stop balancing on ladders and hanging from scaffolding and take my skills in a different direction. I had already started dabbling in pattern design as an added service, but then I began taking courses and have found my new passion as a Surface Designer. I’m excited to share my experience of providing custom art and illustration, but also being able to provide surface pattern designs to you.

I want to help you create and celebrate your style, to comfort, and renew you each day with designs that make you feel good.

 The burning question… Where does my artist signature, MrH come from?

Do you remember me talking about my Grandmother? She was my cheerleader and my saving grace growing up as a child. It was her idea to use my initials MRH as MrH. So every time I sign my work, it’s a testament to the love and affection I have for my Grandmother who sadly passed away from ALS. I’m kinda sentimental that way. So now you know!
